It was about Egyptian Hieroglyphs  and it is how they write in the olden days.

Today we have been finishing our maths task. Our maths task was to create a decimal quiz. In my decimal quiz I asked questions about the tenths and hundredths column. We had to hyperlink the correct numbers and the incorrect numbers to particular slides. These slides were all hyperlinked together too.

The story was about A girl named Rez and family moving around then moving to New Zealand.

The main idea was When Rez  could only say one thing in English.

What was the problem  that she could only say one word  in English.

My favourite part about the story was  she went to New Zealand. And went to her first school in New Zealand.

Today for reading we had to read Bok Choy. After reading our follow up task was to write a letter from Ah Sum to his family explaining what life has been like in New Zealand. In my letter I have talked about how he felt in New Zealand. He was sad because people  called him a vegeman.

Ah sum's Hut

Today was the first day back at school from lock-down. Being at school has been good from when we left last term. We been doing online learning have been doing at home but now we are doing online learning at school. Today my reading task after reading Bok Choy was to create a google drawing of Ah Sum's hut. I enjoyed making this because I got to be creative. I spent a lot of time doing my rock wall. At the beginning I kept making a new shape rather than copying and pasting. once I learnt how to do this it was much quicker.
