Waitangi treaty grounds trip

On Tuesday we when to Waitangi treaty grounds on the bus it took 1 hour and 30 minutes then we got off the bus. We got greeted my two ladies and they were named Monica and Katelyn. We went up to the classroom then they told us to take our shoes  and the next thing they told us to  do was  to put  our bags on the table or under the table. Then we went on a tour of the treaty grounds, to the waka we saw a lot of patterns. Then we went  back up to the classroom and we had morning tea we went onto scratch and made a little animation.

What did you enjoy?

I enjoyed was seeing all the cool patterns because the patterns was different patterns.

What did you you find challenging?

I find challenging was tiring to find out what the patterns because the patterns confusing me.

yesterday we had kiwi can. We played 3 games that was called traffic lights,Maori word game and the last game was clap. The catchphrase was we are honest we are true we take owner ship for what we do.

What did you enjoy?

I enjoyed playing traffic lights because run from on side of the hall to the a other.

what did you find challenging?

I find challenging was playing traffic lights because listening to the kiwi can person.

Kiwi can

Today we had kiwi can, We learnt a new catchphrase was we are honest we are true we take ownership for what we do. The word we are using for 3 weeks is accountability,  accountability means  to be honest if you like something what you broken or you have to apologise to the person you were being mean to. We played 2 games they called high tide, low tide the next game we played was impossible.

 

What did you enjoy?

I enjoyed was playing all of the games because we were challenged playing the games

What did you find challenging?

I find challenging was playing high tide, low tide because the kiwi can person was going very fast.

Today we had to do a blog post about one  task from this week,

How we did the task we use different times tables to work out the times table we don't know.  

I had to do nine questions some of the  questions were hard but most of them were easy.

What did you did you enjoy?

I enjoyed was working out the question so I can go onto the next question.

What did you do well?

I did well was answering the question.

What could you improve on?

I could improve on doing the task faster.

What was your maths task from today?

My geometric art

Today we had to upload our geometric art onto our blog. I did an elephant and the colours I chose to use were dark blue,light blue and purple. I chose not to put tasks on my elephant because it is a baby one. Baby elephants are called calves.

Here are the steps

1. Get chose a animal and draw your animal.

2. Draw the shapes on your animal.

3. Colour in the shapes.

4. Cut out the animal you did

5. Get a black piece of paper.

6. Cut out black border with the black paper.

   

What did you enjoy?

I enjoyed was colouring in the shapes my animal.

What did you do well?

I did well was drawing the shapes.

What could you improve on?

I could improve on doing the art work faster.
